A crisp bed edge and dark, even mulch do more for curb appeal per dollar than anything else on a commercial site. We re-cut the edge along the walks and turf, turn or remove the old material, and install fresh double-shredded hardwood at a depth that feeds the plants instead of smothering them. Mulch stays out of the turf and off the pavement, so the beds still look finished a month later.
