Grounds are the one part of a commercial property every tenant sees, every single day.
How we think about the work
What we do
Six services, one property, every season of the year.
Each service carries the color of its season, so you can see at a glance what your property needs and when.
- Spring
- Summer
- Fall
- Winter
Spring / summerMowing
April through November
Scheduled cuts with clean lines along walks, curbs and beds — and every hard surface blown clean before we pull out.
SummerTrimming
May through October, on rotation
Shrub and hedge shaping on a rotation, plus turf edges cut clean along curbs, islands and sign beds.
SpringMulching
Spring, and again in fall where needed
Bed re-edging and fresh mulch at the right depth — the line a tenant sees before they see the building.
Leaf cleanup
October through December
Fall is a multi-visit job on a commercial site. We clear it, then come back after the last drop.
Winter services
The grounds do not stop when the grass does.
From the first forecast to the last refreeze, the same crew keeps the parking lots open and the walkways safe — so one phone call covers the property in January as well as July.
Ask about a winter contract→
WinterSnow plowing
November through March
Parking lots, drive aisles, loading zones and entrances cleared and stacked — on a per-storm or seasonal contract.
Ice management
November through March
Pre-treatment before a storm and ice-melt on walks, entries and islands — the surfaces where a slip actually happens.
Our work
Real properties, photographed on the job.
Every photo on this site was taken by us, on a property we maintain. Two of them are the same spot photographed before we started and again when it was finished.

Hedge shaping, before and after
An overgrown hedge burying the entry and the address sign, cut back and reshaped so the walk is clear and the number reads from the street.
Trimming→

Bed refresh and mulch, before and after
A shrub that had swallowed the steps, leaves across the walk. Cut back, the bed re-edged and mulched, the path swept down.
Mulching→
Snow clearing, commercial lot
A parking lot opened from the inside out, snow pushed into banks that keep the spaces and the sightlines.
Snow plowing→
Athletic-field style striping
Long straight passes down a large open lawn, so the pattern still holds at the road frontage.
Mowing→
Mowing with clean striping
Alternating stripes run clean and parallel to the drive, with the edges cut and the pavement blown off.
Mowing→Who we work for
Commercial properties only.
That is deliberate. A commercial site has different pressures than a backyard: multiple tenants, sightlines, liability, and a manager who needs the work to happen without being chased. We build the season around those, not around a residential route.
Why we kept it commercial→Offices
Single buildings and outparcels where the entrance, beds and lot frontage are the first impression.
Complexes
Multi-building business and office complexes on one schedule, across every entrance and shared lot.
Medical
Clean entrances, walkways and parking islands where first impressions carry weight.
Professional
Professional offices and banks kept presentable for clients, with the work done off-hours.
Retail centers
Islands, outparcels and sidewalks kept clean and trimmed through the busiest months.
Industrial sites
Large turf, long road frontages and perimeter maintenance on a schedule that fits operations.
Apartment communities
Common grounds, walkways and beds kept tidy across multiple buildings and phases.
HOAs
Consistent grounds across every lot and common area, with one point of contact.
The year, planned
One schedule, all four seasons.
Grounds work is seasonal by nature, so we set the calendar with you at the start of the year: what happens in spring, what repeats all summer, when the fall visits land, and who is plowing the lot in January.
Spring
March – MayBed edging and fresh mulch, first cuts of the year, and winter debris cleared out of lots, islands and beds.
01Summer
June – AugustMowing on a set schedule, trimming on rotation, edges held crisp through heat and drought stress.
02Fall
September – NovemberLeaf cleanup across multiple visits, final cuts of the season, beds put to rest before the ground freezes.
03Winter
December – FebruarySnow plowing in the lot and ice melt on the walks and entries — plus next season booked before the spring rush.

30
Years in the trade
Why us
Thirty years of doing it the same careful way.
Matt Paulin has worked in landscaping for three decades. That is the whole sales pitch, and it is the one that matters: the crews that last in this trade are the ones whose work still looks right two weeks after they leave.
The business runs commercial properties only, on a set maintenance schedule, with one point of contact who answers the phone — and it stays with the property through the winter, plowing the lot and treating the walks. Fully insured.
